Unfortunately they aren’t able to put this off any longer and announcements have been made by Panasonic, Sony, Yamaha, Sennheiser and Denon that prices will increase by up to 32% in January 2009. Once this takes place expect other manufacturers to follow. The prices may increase on existing models for some manufactures whilst others may well wait until they launch imminent new ranges of products. Nevertheless be in no doubt prices will rise. Furthermore if the pound weakens even further then prices may well have to increase even further in the future.

Hence if you are looking to buy the latest Blu-Ray Player, high definition Plasma TV, high definition LCD TV or other consumer electronic item now may be a better time than ever otherwise you will almost certainly not see prices at the present levels for some time to come. As a result beat the price increases, buy now, otherwise dont say that you wasn’t warned.
